Navigate to the Internet Explorer menu entry "Tools" - "Internet options"

A new window opens.

Hit the tab "Privacy" (1) before clicking on the button "Standard" (2).

After that the adjustment lever (3) should be set to "Medium".

Simply confirm with "OK" (4) and your browser will accept cookies from now on.

(Note: Some security tools may also be blocking cookies. Yahoo-, Google- and other toolbars have built-in cookie blockers. Make sure to allow cookies with those programmes as well)

To enable the new settings you need to restart your browser (Internet Explorer). Just to be on the safe side, you can also restart the whole computer since Internet Explorer is tightly integrated with the Windows operating system.
