How does the webcam work on www.single.am? How can I invite somebody to a session?
On host, you have the opportunity to invite somebody to a webcam session. The requirements are, that you have declared in your profile you have a webcam and the member you want to invite is a friend ("My friends"). How to declare the webcam in your profile you can see
here.
\r\nFurthermore you need the program NetMeeting which is preinstalled on nearly every Windows system. To execute it, you just have to go on "Start" - "Run", type "conf" and then press enter. In the case you didn't configure NetMeeting yet, you have to do this now, what is indeed very easy. Just follow the dialog on the screen. Relevant options are:
\r\n- When NetMeeting starts, NOT to log on to a directory server.
\r\n- Your name should not be listed in a directory.
\r\nTo send the webcam invitation you just go on the friends profile and click on "webcam". Consider, that NetMeeting has to be started when sending the invitation. Now the other member gets the invitation and just has to accept it. Regard, that on the friends computer it also can be, that NetMeeting is not configured yet. In this case, NetMeeting can be configured like described this side up.
\r\n\r\nSome reasons why NetMeeting could not be working are:
\r\n- You have installed Skype which is executed instead of NetMeeting then.
\r\n- You are part of a network which is using a router to connect to the internet.
\r\n- NetMeeting is not installed.
